SUMMARY OF POSITION** : Prepares all the customs documentation necessary for the import and export of Raw Material, spare parts, finished product, machinery and equipment. It Is responsible for maintaining accurate data to ensure 100% compliance with the Laws and regulations of Customs in Mexico and the United States.**2. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Be specific)****DESCRIPTION**Prepares for the customs of Mexico and the United States the necessary documents for the importation of finished product, raw material, machinery and Equipment from El Paso to Ciudad Juárez.Prepares the customs documentation and the necessary reports to make virtual exports of Finished Product for clients in Juarez, and Domestic in Mexico.Makes sure to keep accurate records to be in compliance with Customs, while working closely with the Mexican and US Customs Brokers.Works closely with local Transportation companies and coordinates daily truck scheduling for imports and exports.Prepares and coordinates special exports of obsolete and scrap machinery and equipment, as well as special shipments and customer returns from Mexico to the United States.Verifies the list of new products, machinery and equipment, to classify them appropriately according to the "Tariff Classification of Mexico" and requests the necessary permits before the Secretary of Economy, in order to be able to import them legally to Mexico.Verifies the "Mexican Federal Official Journal" to keep the Customs department updated with Mexican Regulations. Request and make updates and changes to the Customs Software as needed.Request the weekly Pedimento number to the Mexican Customs broker and update the Electronic Customs system.Works closely with accounting to ensure accurate information is provided to support imports and exports of finished product, machinery and equipment.Prepares Monthly and annual reports requested by the Secretary of Economy of Mexico, to be in compliance with customs regulations and laws.**3.** ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSABILITIES**:**DESCRIPTION**Maintains and controls files of customs documents as well as security seals.Maintains The Customs Department under compliance with the C-TPAT Security program.Maintains communication with other Vishay departments in Columbus, Yankton and Juarez to support them as necessary with shipments from Mexico to the United States and vice versa.Works on special projects assigned by the Logistics and Customs Manager as needed.**4.
