We are seeking a Data Technology Consultant to oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise data platforms that meet business needs and strategic goals. Responsibilities Manage the design and deployment of enterprise data platforms and solutions that align with organizational strategies Develop and architect data frameworks including data lakes, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP Engage with business stakeholders, Solution Architects, and technical teams to translate needs into scalable data architectures Provide expert advice to clients on data strategy, governance, and operating models to create efficient data ecosystems Lead consulting and presales activities demonstrating expertise in data engineering, management, and analytics Evaluate current data environments, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements in data quality, governance, and availability Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI/ML, cloud, and data management Support creation and rollout of accelerators, blueprints, and open-source tools for Data Service Offerings Ensure compliance with SDLC best practices, promote quality-focused code development and CI/CD Communicate complex technical strategies clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Build and maintain trusted client relationships as a data technology and strategy advisor Requirements Extensive experience of 5+ years in Data Technology Consulting, Data Architecture, or related roles in enterprise data projects Thorough knowledge of data architecture, lifecycle, and enterprise data product design Hands‑on experience implementing large‑scale data solutions including data lakes and analytics platforms Proficiency with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Strong skills in data processing frameworks like Databricks or Microsoft Fabric Advanced programming skills in SQL and Python Background in Master Data Management, data governance, and data quality tools Familiarity with AI/ML technologies including NLP and computer vision Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD processes, and quality-oriented development practices Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities for innovative data solutions Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams to define and deliver data strategies Proven success managing and delivering complex data projects with measurable results Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and projects Consulting expertise in stakeholder management, client engagement, and clear communication of technical concepts Fluent English communication skills at C1 level, both written and verbal Ability to stay current with industry trends and apply insights to strategic planning We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn Job Details Seniority level: Director Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Business Development, Information Technology, and Engineering Industries: Software Development; IT Services and IT Consulting; Technology, Information and Internet Location: Mexico City Metropolitan Area #J-18808-Ljbffr
