Senior Designer, Web Team Full-Time, Remote. Laravel is looking for a highly accomplished Senior Designer to bring world‑class craft, exceptional taste, and digital design excellence to the public face of Laravel: our logged‑out site experiences, campaigns, and broader brand marketing efforts. This role is an individual contributor who thinks in interactions and systems, obsesses over polish and performance, and cares deeply about creating high‑performance websites that look and feel distinctly Laravel. What You’ll Do Lead the Design Effort: In partnership with Marketing, lead the visual design and UX of the core Laravel website and related properties, ensuring it is the best window for Laravel on the web. Drive Conversion and Craft: Design highly interactive, elegant interfaces that deliver tangible improvements in client conversion from the website to our products, balancing brand expression with performance. Systemize and Scale: Contribute to and evolve our web design patterns and components to ensure consistency, polish, and scalability across multiple page variants and external touchpoints. Design for Performance: Own a data‑informed, experimentation‑first approach to design, creating reusable, high‑performing components, monitoring experiment outcomes, and iterating designs based on measurable performance data. Brand Stewardship: Support design efforts beyond the web team, getting involved in creative for Product Marketing, campaigns, and evolving branding efforts, ensuring every asset has great taste and feels the Laravel way. Concept to Completion: Be comfortable operating from the initial concept to final, production‑ready files, working seamlessly with developers, marketers, and writers. How We’ll Know You’re Succeeding (The 12‑Month View) You will have completely overhauled the look and feel of the Laravel website, delivered tangible pages and frameworks that have not only acted as the best window for Laravel on the web but also delivered tangible improvements in client conversion from the website to our products. You will have slotted into the team and worked seamlessly with Cynthia in Marketing from day one, branching out to support design efforts beyond the web team, including Product Marketing and branding. You will be seen as a member of the team with great taste, able to bring thoughts to life looking and feeling the Laravel way. Requirements / What You’ll Bring Experience: 6+ years of experience in visual design, with a strong focus on digital and marketing environments, preferably for a developer or technical brand. Portfolio: A strong portfolio of web, brand, and campaign work demonstrating measurable impact on user acquisition or conversion metrics, as well as exceptional craft. Mindset: A strong product thinking, experimentation, and conversion optimization mindset; a 'builder' mentality that excels at establishing processes and bringing complex ideas to life. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Figma and strong understanding of web design systems, responsive design, and UX principles; ability to deliver production‑ready assets for engineering handoff. Collaboration: Exceptional ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Engineering, Product) and influence design decisions across the business. Aesthetic: A clean, modern aesthetic with an exceptional eye for detail and consistency; confidence in evolving an existing, beloved brand while respecting its core identity.
