Responsibilities
The Opportunity
In this Business Intelligence Sr. Analyst role, you will play a key role in advancing data solutions & capabilities. You will execute data-related initiatives in our critical Go-To-Market team by understanding business needs, researching and analyzing appropriate data sources, and building dimensional data models that will service those business data needs.
Your Power BI skills as a data professional will allow you to quickly profile & analyze data sets, even ones with which you lack full business context and familiarity. Your ability to use data itself along with innate curiosity as a method for building contextual knowledge about the business will establish you as a key team member to deliver data solutions.
You will partner extensively with data engineers, business partners, and data scientists to aid in your design and implementation of data models that will be scalable, sustainable, and extensible to support future requirements, being key in the evolution of data models/analytical solutions from our current state (legacy applications) to the state of the art, delivering common and certified sector data sets (SAP S4, SAP+Legacy).
Your role as a Business Intelligence Sr Analyst will put you at the center of key insights projects and position you to quickly build up functional and technical knowledge that will create a myriad of future career path options.
Your Impact
As Business Intelligence Analyst , your responsibilities would consist of:
- Quickly use technical, discovery, and data profiling techniques to enable team understanding of data.
- Effectively communicate findings to both business and technical personnel.
- Anticipate and overcome technical/data problems and make appropriate decisions to deliver assigned projects.
- Define and establish standards for data modeling across the PFNA Data & Digital Solutions Team.
- Responsible for the support of a variety of data sets and data visualization tools in the production environment.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Key Skills/Experience Required
- Bachelor Degree
- English fluency
- 3 years’ experience operating in an IT data analyst or business data analyst role.
- Experienced user of Power BI
- SQL experience is desirable
