Junior Video Editor Specialist Steelcase Location: 2225 Av. Lazaro Cardenas 5th Floor, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo León, Mexico Business Function: Communications Employment type: Full-time, Regular Seniority level: Entry level Role Overview Do you love transforming raw footage into compelling stories that captivate audiences worldwide? Are you passionate about video editing and eager to work on diverse projects like brand commercials, webinars, and live events? This role is a key player in video production, responsible for editing and executing video projects across a range of media. Key Responsibilities Support the production of small to medium sized video productions independently and take ownership of designated projects from pre-production to post-production. Coordinate with creative leadership to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Work with producers and directors to execute creative vision and edit raw footage into final content. Integrate dialog, music, graphics, and animation into edits. Manage and organize media to best-practice standards of the Video Team. Continuously discover and implement new technology, software, and industry trends. Collaborate with creative leadership and the rest of the Creative team. Create SRT files for subtitles and captions. Handle post color and sound, select creative music, mix and sweeten audio. Create and edit motion graphics in Adobe After Effects. Edit video with DaVinci Resolve. Maintain proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and navigate online platforms such as Frame.io and Adobe Workfront. Benefits & Support Competitive wages and benefits. At least 1 year of professional video editing experience. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Creative Cloud required. Advanced English proficiency. Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing ability. Effective communication skills and collaboration in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple projects and work under accelerated timelines. Capability to take creative direction and execute the overall vision. Desired Skills Knowledge of Canon, Blackmagic, and Sony cameras and lenses.
