Title and Summary Vice President of Cybersecurity Product Management - LAC Overview Mastercard Security Solutions Organization (SSO) is deeply committed to addressing the evolving risk across the ecosystem as the world changes. Our focus is on enhancing the purchase journey for consumers – not only to keep them safe but also to make their lives easier. Additionally, we work to extend security for all other types of transactions and beyond – capitalizing from years of experience entrenched in our network security solutions, bringing standards and education where none exists today, and developing a suite of capabilities to help all ecosystem stakeholders ensure optimal cyber health. Finally, we extend security to mitigate systemic operational risk. This unwavering commitment to cybersecurity is at the core of our mission and guides everything we do. We are in search of a Vice President (VP) of Cybersecurity Product Management who will play a pivotal role in shaping our cybersecurity product strategy and execution across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). This executive position is not just important; it is strategically significant, focusing on managing and expanding a portfolio of cybersecurity products that align with evolving cyber threats, market trends and needs, and business objectives unique to the LAC region. The role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Security Solutions for LAC, underscoring its strategic importance within our organization. The VP will be at the forefront of driving Mastercard’s cybersecurity solutions, overseeing regional go-to-market execution, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This role is not just about managing existing products but also about innovating and supporting the creation of new solutions. It requires a strategic thinker, a cybersecurity expert, and a proven product management leader ready to push the boundaries of what is possible in cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities Cybersecurity Strategy & Product Development • Define and execute the SSO cybersecurity strategy for the LAC market that aligns with global, regional, and local priorities and objectives. • Lead the approach to expand the SSO’s cybersecurity offerings and identify new product opportunities. • Contribute to product development, from identifying market needs to technical conceptualization to defining commercial approaches. • Engage with customers (issuers, acquirers, merchants, and regulators) to validate product-market fit. • Ensure SSO’s cybersecurity solutions are adaptable to LAC’s evolving threats and market needs. Go-to-Market & Commercialization • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy tailored for LAC. • Partner with LAC regional sales teams to adapt product positioning, pricing, and distribution strategies. • Define and monitor performance metrics to measure product success and adoption. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration • Work closely with internal cybersecurity teams, data analytics, threat intelligence, franchise, and others to contribute and support the solutions. • Support partnership efforts, RFPs, and pilots for our cybersecurity solutions. Leadership & Team Management • Build and lead a team of cybersecurity product managers and subject matter experts. • Drive cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, privacy, global products, etc. • Act as a thought leader in cybersecurity, representing the company in industry conferences, forums, and regulatory discussions. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related fields. • Deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, risk mitigation, and emerging technologies. • Familiarity with security technologies and cybersecurity regulatory requirements and compliance across LAC. • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or SANS as differentiation. • Proven experience in product management, product commercialization, and go-to-market execution. • Ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into business-friendly solutions. • Track record of driving revenue growth through innovative security solutions. • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing product portfolios. • Strong ability to engage with senior executives, customers, and external partners. • Comfortable negotiating business models, partnerships, and licensing agreements. • Fluency in English (for Portuguese speakers, Spanish is a differential; for Spanish speakers, Portuguese is a differential).
