**Job Description Summary**: Join our team as a Custom Logic Engineer and play a pivotal role in the design and development of cutting-edge products that leverage FPGAs as integral computing elements. In this role, you won't use FPGA for developing the product; the FPGA is part of our products; you'll be embedding your expertise within it. You will be responsible for crafting precise hardware descriptions and, equally important, validating our devices to ensure top-notch performance and reliability, adhering to the rigorous DO-254 standards.**Roles and Responsibilities**- Responsible for leading large Custom Logic projects, designing and developing devices for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.- Application and improvement of best practices and skills in developments, as well integrating with other developers.- Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.- Acts as a mentor for colleagues with less experience. Ability to lead projects with certain risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.**Required Qualifications**- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.- Wide experience with FPGA development and hardware design languages- Wide experience with verification methods and testbench development such as VHDL directed tests, SystemVerilog, and UVM- Experience with high density custom logic designs, FPGA, System on Chip technologies- Experience with contemporary data transfer/communication standards: A664, PCIe, PCI, TSN, 10/100/1000-BaseT**Desired Characteristics**- Experience requirements-based designs, high-reliability, safe-by-design, design/development methods, DO-254 is a plus- Experience with aviation data transfer/communication standards: MIL-STD-1553- Work in variety of development team sizes- Independent, clear-thinking, problem solving- Strong oral and written communication skills.- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.- Established project management skills.Note:**To comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years’ experience required for any role based within the USA.** **For roles outside of the USA, to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, the JDs should focus on the substantive level of experience required for the role and a minimum number of years should NOT be used.****Additional Information**:**Relocation Assistance Provided**:No
