TITLE: Jr BuyerLOCATION: Guadalajara SSCREPORTS TO: Associate Manager, ProcurementCore Responsibilities:- Quote requirements from users for up to 10,000 USD.- Process, review and confirm all requisitions for indirect products or services and/or simple spare parts into POs through the SAP System.- Ensure proper Service Level to users in general.- Opportune communication with supervisor and/or peers about business issues and opportunities.- Coordinate the purchasing process of goods and services according to Purchasing Policies based on requirements to full fil users’ requirements in a timely manner.- Proper execution and achievement of Business KPI's.- Adhere and maintain updated department Policies and Procedures.- Maintain a strong communication channels with users and suppliers.- Develop solution alternatives for operational challenges.- Use of existing and new technologies to facilitate execution process.- Keep good business relationship with suppliers, providing necessary support to solve administrative issues.- Provide proper support and feedback to users.- Foster collaboration in Business initiatives.- Business Administration, International Commerce, Industrial Engineering, or similar.- 1 year's experience in procurement/buyer functions- Strong Customer Service focus.- Microsoft Office (proficient).- SAP or ERP/MRP experience (Expenditure, PP, MM, similar ERP).- Ariba (desirable).- Intermediate English, ideally conversational.- Quality & food systems (ISO, FSSC, others related) is a plus.- Negotiation- Communication.- Multicultural and collaborative teamwork.- Agility and responsiveness.Company Background: Ingredion is a Fortune 500 provider of ingredient solutions that helps nourish, comfort, sustain, and delight people around the world.
