TransUnion's Job Applicant Privacy Notice**What We'll Bring**:As a Client Solutions Engineer, you will engage with both internal and external customers to solve their unique data challenges and provide creative, custom solutions to drive adoption of our platform services. You will work on the “front lines” to understand customer needs and align those needs with the needs of products and services that the customer uses.This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.**What You'll Bring**:To be successful, you will possessAn ability to accurately estimate work artifacts in an agile environmentA proven track-record in client problem through software design and developmentStrong Proficiency in LinuxStrong scripting knowledge of Shell scriptingProficient in at least one programming language including Java 8 or higher, Python and/or ScalaSolid knowledge of SQL and open-source RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQLExperience with source control and code review tools (Git, GitLab, Gerrit)Experience with Build Automation frameworks (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins)Experience with Cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure)Working knowledge of large-scale data processing systems like Hadoop, Map Reduce and Spark.Your background will includeA Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or STEM field preferred.Relevant experience or degree in progress will be accepted in lieu of degree.3 to 5 years of relevant experience.Advanced proficiency in English (Speaking, writing, and reading)Excellent oral and written communication skills - Excellent organizational skillsA demonstrated ability to adjust to rapid changes in priority and deadlines.Additional Information:GUI and web development with front end development using Vue.js helpfulContainerization, docker and/or KubernetesManaging and communicating the status of work products via Jira storiesWe’re excited to announce Neustar has joined the TransUnion team as part of an acquisition that took place in late 2021.
