QA Automation Engineer Responsibilities: Meet with the software design team to discuss verification protocols. Identify software application weaknesses and target areas. Design automated software test procedures. Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas. Write automation scripts and implement software applications. Design and install software databases. Troubleshoot automation software and finalize system procedures. Create test reports to identify quality issues. Collaborate with the design team to resolve application faults. QA Automation Engineer Requirements: Experience with Cypress. Experience writing scripts in JavaScript. Experience with manual testing and tools like qTest and TestRail. Ability to differentiate between functional and performance testing; design, execute, and document both. Experience with jUnit, JMeter. Experience testing REST APIs. Understanding of unit testing vs. integration testing. Familiarity with code coverage analysis. Optional: Generate execution plans and analyze query performance. 3+ years of experience as a QA automation engineer. Advanced programming skills, including automation systems and databases. Knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols. Eagerness for manual and automated testing practices. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Good project management skills. Remote position within Mexico.
