**Main Activities**:Perform proactive Quality Assurance responsibilities and support Supplier development actions for all purchased components; systems; and whole goods that contribute to successful product launches and support existing production quality requirements.Collaborate with Suppliers and Polaris Engineering during design reviews to ensure Design for Manafacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).Train suppliers to effectively execute PPAPs; PPAP System; and Corrective Actions. Promote the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and continuous improvement techniques at Polaris suppliers to help them reduce variability and achieve process control.Perform production readiness assessments (PPAP reviews) at supplier facilities for high risk suppliers/components. Report readiness status and action plans on deficiencies.Provide support and feedback to Product Groups when determining existing supplier suitability for future business awards.Perform special projects as required.**Knowledge**:1. ISO 9000 / IATF 169492. Quality Core Tools(APQP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP)3. GD&T4. Combustion engine manufacturing process5. Casting and Machining manufacturing processes**6. Developing suppliers. Skillset Required**: sap-srm - supplier relationship management, quality assurance, ppap (production part approval process)
