Manufacturing Engineer

As a MANUFACTURING ENGINEER you will ensure that measurement tools are used to track production performance and validate compliance with business indicators.You will report to the Plant Manager.**Key Responsibilities**- You will adequacy of the Operational Discipline Procedures and Plans.- Work on Production Information Analysis to identify ongoing changes to Plant processes and update the system.- Daily update of performance records and process conditions.- Ensure that Action Plans generated are completed.- Ensure that measurement tools are in place to track production performance, raw material conversion and asset use.- You will develop continuous improvement activities.- Strategy development and monitoring.- Prepare presentations / executive reports.**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related career.- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing areas.- Knowledge of Operation tools, Production Management, Inventory Control, Continuous Improvement, Outlook, Excel (can write advanced macros), Word, PowerPoint.**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.****We are "One PPG" to the world.****We trust our people every day, in every way.****We make it happen.****We run it like we own it.****We do better today than yesterday - everyday.**Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
