As an Accounting Supervisor at Kwan, you'll be part of a very motivated, dedicated, and experienced team and play a critical role in the daily operations of the accounting team. You will also have many opportunities to take on challenging projects and make a positive impact.**In this role, you will**:- Oversee the monthly close process for the Bulgarian entity.- Assist with the consolidated monthly close of the client's foreign entities including preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.- Assist with purchase requisitions and invoice coding.- Perform expense reimbursement approvals in Concur.- Prepare monthly accruals for accounts payable and other liabilities.- Perform bank reconciliations for US and international bank accounts.- Assist with external financial audits.- Assist with statutory audits.- Perform VAT filings for international entities.- Prepare the weekly payment run for the Bulgarian entity.- Review the monthly international payroll submissions.- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis.- Manage a small team as/if we expand the accounting team in Bulgaria.**Requirements**:- Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience.- Solid and relevant education credentials- Good communication skills and an upbeat disposition.- Flexibility as maybe required to interact with US-based managers and teammates- Attention to detail, curiosity, and self-motivation.- The ability to perform projects with mínimal oversight.- A passion for improving current processes.- Solid quantitative skills- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial data.- The ability to manage a team.**What sets you apart?**- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and Concur
