**What to Expect**Tesla has an exciting regional opportunity for a skilled Design Manager to join our dynamic Infrastructure Development team in Latin America. The Design Manager will lead the design and permitting phases of new Sales, Service, Delivery, and Collision facilities across the region.**What You'll Do**- Oversee and manage the full design development process - from test fits and concept design through survey coordination, due diligence, issue-for-bid (IFB), and issue-for-construction (IFC) packages with external consultants- Coordinate technical and business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into site-specific concept drawings- Lead and manage site surveys, due diligence, and assessments, including utilities, load analysis, structural conditions, vehicle access, and overall property evaluations- Conduct site walks and engage with stakeholders to confirm final scope, identify cost drivers, and propose creative solutions to retrofit or adapt sites to Tesla’s brand standards- Manage schedules for surveys, design deliverables, and permitting with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with project milestones. Produce design concepts, presentation drawings, and detailed design documentation**What You'll Bring**- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field, or equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability- 5-7 years of experience in retail, commercial, or industrial infrastructure projects. Experience in design management or architectural firm environments preferred- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across both languages, verbally, in writing, and visually through drawings/sketches- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination with consultants- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills- Highly detail-oriented with strong time management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
