The company's broad range of products encompasses intelligent inverter and storage systems and revolutionary EV chargers; by doing that, we are changing the way electricity is produced and consumed worldwide.We are looking for a NPI Quality Engineer to join our team located in Guadalajara, Mexico.In this position you will be a part of the quality team to establish a robust quality system, work methods and tools for new products. Cooperating with cross functional teams, you will push for excellence to assure the company will put quality and reliable products in the market, leading to company success**What will you be doing in this position?**- Be responsible from the quality & reliability (Q&R) point of view for NPI readiness starting from early planning until mass production approval.- Audit the line before running NPI to make sure it is ready to start.- Monitor the NPI builds to benchmark vs yield targets to improve quality, reliability, and performance of SolarEdge's products.- Report on NPI quality performance to SE and CM on a daily/weekly basis.- Lead investigation of issues root cause analysis and lead cross functional teams for corrective actions implementation and.- Provide information required by headquarters related to NPI’s.- Along with headquarters NPI’s, communicate decisions related to qualifications, issues, or start/stop production lines, all related to NPI’s.- Engage with other quality engineers and NPI related engineers from SE and CM to prepare the sustaining team to receive a NPI ready to launch in production.- Support the quality organization upon request.**Requirements**:- Education: Bachelor in sciences (Mechanical / Materials / Industrial / Electronic / Electrical) with additional education in quality.- At least 5 years' experience in quality engineering of multidisciplinary electronics mass production manufacturing sites.- Proven experience of quality monitoring in a multinational electronics manufacturer.- Deep understanding of electronic manufacturing processes: SMT, wave solder, manual soldering, mechanical assembly, and testing methodologies, among others- Desired experience in the introduction of new products in the electronics manufacturing industry.- Very good English level, both written and spoken.
