The Software Engineer designs, builds, and supports custom software solutions for some of the world's largest retailers.**What you will be doing**:Your typical day as a Toshiba **Software Engineer**will involve:- Developing new custom function and assisting with defect support- Extending the automation / continuous integration platform, including tests- Working closely with the QA team to ensure a quality deliverable- Creating product user's documentation- Providing configuration, installation, and ongoing maintenance support- Providing technical guidance during requirements workshops with our clients- Collaboration with team in Taiwan.**Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of**- Bachelor's degree- Exceptional English written and verbal communication.- 2+ years of software development experience- 2+ years of Java-based development- Self-learner- Knowledge of IA- Java programming- Device Drivers development - Backend programming- Experience with XML- Computer science fundamentals including object-oriented concepts, data structures and related algorithms- Familiarity with the software engineering lifecycle and methodologies- Linux-based operating systems.**Desired skills**- Experience working with HW.
