Prototype Planner Jr

As a Prototype Planner Jr. you will execute the activities on material purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within Garrett Advancing Motion (SBG), to ensure correct supply levels for operation as well as act as a linkage for cross functions and stakeholders such as planning, operation and quality. You will resolve material related issues due to supply based problems, inventory errors or demand changes. You will keep Garrett Advancing Motion moving by ensuring materials are well scheduled, evaluated and accurately delivered on time.Join a team that helps improve processes and drive Inventory targetsYou must have:- High School DiplomaWe value:- Basic understanding of manufacturing planning- General knowledge with MRP/ERP Systems- Ability to initiate process improvement- Ability to work independently and take direction from others- Theoretical knowledge in materials managementYour Role:- Solve material related problems- Ensure timely material ordering- Engineering Change Requests- Ensure compliance with Garrett Advancing Motion Operating System- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance- Organize monthly meeting to monitor inventory- Provide data and analysis- Escalate shortages and potential shortages
