**Position Overview**An international company within the vehicle electronic parts industry, starting operations in Mexico, is seeking a Facility & Mechanical & Electrical Systems Manager to join its new plant in Querétaro. This role is critical to ensuring the plant’s infrastructure, utilities, and mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems are fully operational, compliant with regulations, and aligned with corporate Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.**Key Responsibilities**- Facility & M&E System Planning and Implementation - Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of plant infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, and utility systems.- Compliance and Safety Management - Ensure facilities and systems comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, fire protection standards, and corporate EHS requirements.- Vendor and Contractor Coordination - Lead selection, negotiation, and performance management of contractors, suppliers, and service providers to secure quality outcomes, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.- Preventive Maintenance Program Setup - Develop and implement preventive maintenance systems for M&E equipment and facility infrastructure to ensure operational reliability and reduce downtime.- Cross-functional Support - Collaborate closely with production, engineering, procurement, EHS, and HR teams to align facility operations with production needs and startup milestones.- Budget and Cost Control - Monitor and manage project expenditures, ensuring budget adherence while optimizing cost-performance ratios.**Qualifications**- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).- 8+ years of experience in facility management, mechanical & electrical systems, or industrial plant infrastructure within manufacturing (automotive/electronics industry experience highly desirable).- Proven expertise in system design, commissioning, vendor management, and maintenance program development.- Strong knowledge of Mexican building codes, environmental regulations, and EHS compliance standards.- Hands-on experience in new plant setup, facility readiness, and utilities commissioning.- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.- Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).**Key Competencies**- Strategic planning and execution- Technical expertise in M&E systems- Project management and organizational skills- Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration- Focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence**What We Offer**- Opportunity to play a key role in the startup of a global manufacturing operation in Mexico.- Competitive salary and benefits package aligned with international standards.- Dynamic, multinational work environment with growth opportunities.- The chance to shape the foundation of long-term operational success.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 al mesLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
