No matter who you are, where you're from, or who you love, you can always influence the people around you and make a positive impact in the world.**Know more**:PepsiCoJobs**Join PepsiCo, dare for better.****Responsibilities**:**The Opportunity****R&D Product Developer** is responsible for supporting innovation, productivity, brand stewardship and portfolio transformation projects working along with the multifunctional teams across Mexico and LATAM, to develop and implement key projects according to the strategic plans to ensure the business’s growth, by executing projects through prototyping, lab trials, pilot plant trials, as well as delivering the required documentation and execution of each project.**Your Impact**As **R&D Product Developer** your responsibilities would consist of:- Lead and support short- and medium-term projects in innovation, productivity, portfolio transformation, and brand stewardship for the Pellet (flour and pork pellet) category, ensuring flawless and consistent execution.- Understand business objectives and consumer needs to propose new products and solutions aligned with the strategic plan.- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D Technical Teams (Plant Executives, Operational Excellence, Seasonings, Regulatory, Sensory, Analytical, Food Safety, QD, Nutrition Science, Packaging), Business Teams (Excite, Marketing, Finance, Commercialization, Procurement), and Operations Teams (Plant Management, Operations, Planning, Engineering) to deliver projects effectively.- Gather consumer insights and future trends, translating them into product designs in collaboration with the extended R&D team.- Develop prototypes and formulas, defining specifications for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products, and provide technical support to Operations to ensure correct implementation.- Perform zero mass balances to define raw material usage factors and costs, generating cost-effective solutions.- Conduct pilot plant and scale-up trials, capturing operational data to establish accurate specifications.- Support analytical, microbiological, consumer, and shelf-life studies to generate insights and validate product feasibility in collaboration with R&D SCPI and Analytical teams.- Ensure compliance with PepsiCo and local Product, Regulatory, and Nutrition guidelines, providing inputs for Nutrition Facts and tables as needed.- Deliver projects through the R&D Stage Gate process, ensuring technical documentation (TSG, PQP, SAP) is completed from feasibility to launch.- Perform end-to-end risk analysis for all projects, escalating issues to the manager throughout development phases.Qualifications:**Who Are We Looking For?****Education**- Bachelor’s degree in food engineering, Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related discipline.**Experience & Skills**- 1 - 2 years of experience in Product Development or Project Management (internships or early career experience will also be considered).- Fluency in Spanish and English.- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously.- Creative and strategic thinker, with a solid understanding of business, technical, and commercial aspects.- Ownership mindset with a proactive and results-oriented approach.- Ability to stay focused, organized, and agile while driving projects from concept to execution.**What can you expect from us**:- Opportunities to learn and develop every day through a wide range of programs.- Internal digital platforms that promote self-learning.- Development programs according to Leadership skills.- Specialized training according to the role.- Learning experiences with internal and external providers.- We love to celebrate success, which is why we have recognition programs for seniority, behavior, leadership, moments of life, among others.- Financial wellness programs that will help you reach your goals in all stages of life.- A flexibility program that will allow you to balance your personal and work life, adapting your working day to your lifestyle.- And because your family is also important to us, they
