It is a comprehensive cloud service offering in the enterprise software industry, spanning Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). OCI is currently building a future-ready Gen2 cloud Data Science service platform. At the core of this platform, lies Big Data Service.**What Big Data Service is**:Oracle Big Data Service is a fully handled, automated cloud service that provides enterprises with a cost-effective Hadoop environment. Customers easily create secure and scalable Hadoop-based data lakes that can quickly process large amounts of data.**Key Points**:Enables customers to deploy Hadoop clusters of all sizes, with VM shapes ranging from 1 OCPU to dedicated bare metal environments. Customers choose between high-performance NVMe storage or cost-effective block storage and can grow or shrink their clusters.
