Buyer is in charge of supervising the process of sourcing and purchasing essential raw materials, equipment, and tools for Connest's factory operations. Their duties include researching raw materials suppliers and comparing costs, negotiating purchase agreements and developing inventory controls to identify demand for new materials.**Duties**:- Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers- Communicates with factory supervisors to determine their raw material and equipment needs- Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times- Establishes good working relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate the best prices for the company- Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers- Identifies and researches potential new suppliers- Researches new products and services to meet company's goals- Assesses total costs of company purchases- Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels- Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills- Able to travel to meet with suppliers and work overtime as required- Reports to the purchasing manager for approvals- Experience as a Procurement Clerk or Junior Buyer sourcing construction materials- Specialised Industry Knowledge- Bachelor's Degree in related areaGood at Networking, Excellent Written, and Oral Communication**Skills**:- Data Analysis- Superior Organisational Skills- Good Business Instincts- Mathematics Skills- Good Negotiator- Financial Analysis Skills- Understanding of Supply Chain Management Procedures- Logistics Skills- Strategic Planning Abilities- Knowledge of Supply Management Software- Inventory Management- Financial AnalysisTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $1.00 - $2.00 al mesTipo de jornada:- Turno matutinoEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- Compras: 4 años (Deseable)
