Client: Our client is a leading airline in Latin America, committed to delivering frictionless passenger experiences and enabling data-driven decisions across all airport operations.- Position overview: We are looking for our next Data Engineer to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines and solutions that enable analytics and efficient information usage within the In Flight Service domain.- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Dataform, is highly valued. An excellent command of SQL, Python, and Terraform is essential, as these are key tools for the project’s development.- Responsibilities: Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and workflows- Develop scalable data solutions using GCP services- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics and reporting needs- Monitor and troubleshoot data processes in production- 3+ years as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer- Strong Python and SQL skills- Experience working in UNIX environments- Hands-on experience with GCP, especially its data tools (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer)- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker- Solid understanding of data structures and distributed processing- Experience testing and debugging data pipelines
