We’re focused on purpose-driven work, and strongly believe what’s good for pets, people and our planet is good for Petco.**Summary**:**Duties & Responsibilities**:- ** Infrastructure Automation**: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (**IaC**) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies to automate provisioning and configuration management tasks.**:- ** Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)**: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms to automate software delivery, testing, and deployment processes.**:- ** Monitoring and Alerting**: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure the health, performance, and availability of our systems. Configure alerts to proactively identify and address issues.**:- ** Documentation and Knowledge Sharing**: Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.**:**Minimum Qualifications**:- ** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).**:- ** Proven experience (2+ years) as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.**:- ** Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.**:- ** Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.**:- ** Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.**:- ** Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).**:- ** Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).**:- ** Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.**:- ** Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.**:- ** Strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.**:**Preferred Qualifications**:- ** Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Professional DevOps Engineer).**:- ** Experience with infrastructure orchestration tools (Chef, Puppet).**:- ** Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA).**:- ** Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.**:Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
