You’ll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you—because when you feel valued, you’re empowered to do your best work.**Job Summary****Responsibilities**- Independently manage all tax compliance activities for Mexico, including CIT and VAT- Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation, ensuring compliance with local laws and deadlines- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential impacts on the business- Handle day-to-day tax issues and liaise with local tax authorities when required- Support the LATAM Tax team in complex matters- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Accounting, Treasury and Legal teams, to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting- Provide input and support for internal and external audits- Coordinate and manage tax refund requests and related documentation, if needed.- Monitor and address issues related to Blacklist regulations and compliance, if needed.- Analyze contracts to assess and document tax implications- Perform and review monthly calculations for federal, state, and municipal taxes, as well as prepare and file tax returns- Calculate and manage tax attributes such as CUCA, CUFIN- Prepare/analyze reconciliations of bank statements x AP/AR reports- Review reconciliations of tax accounts- Monitor the company's "complemento de pago"**Qualifications**- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- Minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in multinational companies or Big Four firms- Proven ability to manage tax compliance independently- Advanced English skills, both written and spoken- Strong understanding of Mexican tax laws and regulations for CIT and VAT- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications- Experience with Oracle ERP systems- Knowledge of US GAAP tax compliance and reportingEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
