Senior Software Developer-22000BWQ**Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages***: English**Preferred Qualifications**We're looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and smart engineer to work on Information Security of Oracle Cloud and Oracle Linux core components. The team is responsible for the development of security and cryptography related features, security vulnerability testing, and public sector validations and certifications.In exchange, we can offer a chance to take part in the development of world-leading products, skills improving job, diverse and distributed team of motivated, experienced and smart colleagues, high level of impact on the product, recognition of the achievements, competitive salary and benefits.RESPONSIBILITIES- Static and dynamic testing of software for cloud solutions including linux packages and kernel- Security and cryptography related features development- Engineering support for public sector validations and certifications (FIPS140-2 and Common Criteria)- Security fixes and CVE management- Work with internal Oracle teams and open source communitiesQUALIFICATIONS:- Strong technical background- 4+ years of Software Development or Quality experience- 2+ years of C/C++ programming experience- 2+ years of Python programming experience- 2+ year of shell programming experience- excellent knowledge of Linux OS- excellent troubleshooting skills- excellent understanding of Information Security- good understanding or experience of cryptography and code signing concepts- excellent written and verbal communication skills- Open Source development experience is a big plus**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
