Key Responsibilities Provide the engineering representation to the customer for assigned program(s), under the guidance of the Chief Engineer. Promote the GKN brand and technology to the customer. Establish and develop effective relationships with customer engineering functions at working levels. Ensure that project execution of deliverables meet customer expectations for assigned program(s) throughout the program life cycle. Provide engineering support to ensure robust change management in C and D phases for assigned program(s). In addition, support generation of VAVE ideas to provide savings in D Phase in line with the customer account VAVE strategy. Provide Engineering support to Product Launch teams, Site Engineering teams, and Operations to assist in on-site problem solving. Support Customer Development Income (CDI) recovery for assigned program(s). For assigned program(s), develop robust DFMEA with Programme Engineering, ensuring alignment with the GPPC product experts. Support DFMEA / PFMEA reviews with plant quality prior to launch. Support the documentation for deviations in the customer requirements compliance matrix for C0 programs (also known as "agree / disagree"). Execute escalation of technical issues in accordance with the process. Support the development of the Customer Engineering team, through performance management and development of Application Engineers. Drive performance development through coaching, recognition, and the PDP process. Support the Engage Me process through action plan development, with the intent of improving overall team engagement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
