Strategic Sourcing Procurement Manager, Mro Indirect

**TITLE**:Manager, MRO Indirect**LOCATION**:Guadalajara, Mexico**REPORTS TO**:Director, Corporate Indirect, Global Procurement**SUPERVISION**:Anticipated as one direct report within pool of Sourcing Associates**As a Manager **your responsibilities will include**:- Conduct a thorough assessment of the company’s total global spend on Indirect goods and services- Assess the global market for relevant goods and services including trends, forecasts, risks, geopolitical effects, and supplier profiling- Participate in the definition of a fully comprehensive category strategy for indirect goods and services- Translate global procurement strategy into detailed category plans with a set of measurable global, regional, and local targets- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and avoidance that are attributable to the P&L and able to be audited by a Finance stakeholder- Execute on target opportunities by conducting strategic sourcing projects and supplier selection related activities using best practices and e-Sourcing tools- As appropriate, lead the negotiation and development of key contracts through the effective partnering with the supplier, Legal, and the business stakeholder- Manage designated key strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and service. Conduct timely reviews with suppliers to measure performance against contractual standards and performance expectations- Develop risk management strategies relating to potential supply disruptions including alternative sourcing options and product/service availability- Help drive a supplier enablement strategy to maximize spend transacted through SAP Ariba Buying and Supply-Chain Collaboration- Support the delivery of 100% digital cataloging of key procurement contracts- Identify procurement processes and policies for alignment at the country, region, and global levels- Provide business SME for future digital procurement platform deployments**The Manager position **is well-suited for you if you**:- Have experience in procurement within process manufacturing environments- Self-directed with an ability to work remotely from direct manager- Are organized with strong attention to detail- Seek to deliver a laser-focus on your internal customers- Possess a desire to manage multiple priorities and achieve results- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, build consensus, and foster positive relationships with team members and suppliers- Enjoy a performance culture that values work intensity- Possess an owner’s mindset and enjoy challenging the status quo- A bachelor’s degree in business, supply management, engineering, life science, or other related discipline and 5-7 years of procurement/purchasing experience- Technical, plant operation, and/or engineering experienced preferred- Knowledge and understanding of purchasing practices, policies, and procedures; in-depth experience in using SAP Ariba as a value creating tool, SAP Fieldglass, and Powersteering- Experience in international procurement / sourcing activities with a record of leading change and cost reduction in cross-cultural environments- Experience in successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously with results consistent with management’s expectations- A demonstrated history of successfully collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders- A passion for managing and developing employees in alignment with company values- An ability to multi-task- Strong oral and written communication skills, be highly organized, and have excellent problem solving/decision making abilities- Excellent analytical and financial acumen including cost modeling, budgeting, and forecasting- Excellent skills within the Microsoft Office suiteWhat is the formula for a winning career?It starts with joining a thought leader, innovator and true high performer, grounded in values and driven to innovate and advance.
