Funciones:

Buscamos un ingeniero de Data Science altamente motivado y con experiencia. El ingeniero debe tener sólidos conocimientos en tecnologías de Big Data, análisis de datos y programación, además de habilidades para diseñar, implementar y gestionar sistemas de almacenamiento y procesamiento de grandes volúmenes de datos. Colaborará estrechamente con equipos multidisciplinarios para desarrollar soluciones de análisis de datos que impulsen la toma de decisiones informadas y fomenten la innovación.

Roles y Responsabilidades:
  • Diseñar, desarrollar e implementar arquitecturas de almacenamiento y procesamiento de datos a gran escala utilizando tecnologías como PBI, almacenamiento en la nube AWS, y otras herramientas de Big Data.
  • Colaborar con los equipos de desarrollo y analistas para entender los requisitos y diseñar soluciones que aborden los desafíos de procesamiento y análisis de datos, generando reportes automatizados de acuerdo con los requerimientos del cliente.
  • Gestionar y optimizar pipelines de datos para la adquisición, procesamiento y transformación de datos desde diversas fuentes.
  • Desarrollar algoritmos y modelos de análisis de datos para descubrir tendencias, patrones y oportunidades de mejora.
  • Mantener y administrar infraestructuras de Big Data, asegurando la escalabilidad, la disponibilidad y el rendimiento.
  • Realizar pruebas y evaluaciones de rendimiento para identificar cuellos de botella y áreas de mejora en los sistemas de datos.
  • Colaborar en la definición de estándares y mejores prácticas para la gestión de datos a gran escala.
  • Mantenerse actualizado sobre las últimas tendencias y avances en el campo de Big Data y aplicar ese conocimiento a los proyectos y soluciones.
  • Mantener actualizadas las bases de datos diariamente y controlar la calidad de la data.
  • Participar activamente en la presentación de la información al cliente y buscar maneras de adecuar las necesidades del cliente a los objetivos de análisis de cada proyecto.
  • Realizar capacitaciones técnicas cada seis meses en áreas relevantes.
  • QA/QC de los reportes e información enviada a los clientes diaria y por requerimiento.
  • Realizar un documento trimestral de shared knowledge con los ingenieros de campo.
  • Participar en la implementación de los tickets para la documentación de lecciones aprendidas.
Perfil del Candidato/a Ideal:
  • Título y cédula profesional en cualquier rama de la Ingeniería afín.
  • Experiencia mínima de 2 años en manejo de Big Data.
  • Conocimientos avanzados en herramientas de analítica y visualización de datos tales como Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python y R.
  • Experiencia en la creación de modelos predictivos y algoritmos de aprendizaje automático.
  • Familiaridad con sistemas de gestión de bases de datos y plataformas de big data como Hadoop o Spark.
  • Habilidades de resolución de problemas y toma de decisiones.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera efectiva bajo presión.
