Job Description The Director of Product Development will lead the product development team focused on Debit / Credit Processing for LAC, ensuring compliance with CNBV, CMF, SB, SF, and other obligations within Pismo’s platform within different countries. This role requires strategic oversight of regulatory adherence, market trends, and technological innovation to deliver best-in-class credit card products. Knowledge of regulatory standards and rules from regulated sources of financial institutions on LAC region, and other entities to implement improvements and develop new Debit / Credit Card Products. Evaluate, with engineering and business development, the approaches available to implement the product roadmap: build, partner. Cooperate with other teams to develop cross function developments Ensure product quality, including non-functional aspects such as integrity, resilience and scalability. Understand and anticipate the needs of customers and our markets. Critical vision and thinking, with the ability to articulate and implement improvements in processes and products. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD 5 years of experience as a Product Director leading Tribes, Squads related to the development and support of an Issuer Processing Credit and Debit Card Product 8 years of experience in the Product Development and Management market focused on Development and implementation of Credit Card Processing for Mexican financial institutions or Fintech. Have in-depth knowledge of the market in which we operate, including Mexican Standards Product, Business and Regulatory aspects, trends, benchmarks and client needs. Ability to lead strategic discussions and influence decisions across engineering, business development, and operations. Proven experience in scalable product architecture and risk management. Knowledge and experience about APIs integration and microservices in Cloud Computing Environment. Proficiency in product research and analysis. Mandatory experience with software engineers' teams Desirable experience with fintech's. Desirable experience with Agile methodologies. Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer.
