What We’re Looking For: We're looking for a Senior Operations Manager to spearhead comprehensive operational and logistical endeavors. This role is key to ensuring superior operational performance, advancing service delivery, and promoting strategic enhancements. The successful candidate will manage a dynamic team, collaborate across various departments, and engage with external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational continuity that bolsters growth and enhances customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Oversee all facets of daily operations, ensuring activities are executed efficiently and align with organizational goals and standards. Team Management and Development: Lead, train, and inspire the operations team to promote a culture of high performance, ongoing improvement, and mutual accountability. Strategic Planning and Implementation: Craft and enforce strategic operational plans that improve logistic capacities, streamline processes, and reduce costs while sustaining high service quality. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary operational liaison for internal parties at all levels, including product development, sales, customer service, and external partners such as suppliers and regulatory agencies. Process Optimization: Regularly evaluate and enhance operational processes through data-driven methods. Introduce cutting-edge logistics solutions and technologies to boost efficiency and flexibility. Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure operations comply with legal standards and internal policies. Manage the development and upkeep of compliance protocols to fulfill safety and regulatory requirements. Crisis Management and Problem Resolution: Tackle operational issues and unforeseen challenges promptly and effectively, minimizing impact on services and customer satisfaction. Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness. Use these metrics to inform business decisions and report operational status to senior leadership. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. At least 5 years of experience in operations or logistics management, preferably within a technology-driven or logistics-centric industry. Experience with platform-to-consumer, delivery, or gig economy apps is highly preferred. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a solid history of improving operational efficiency. Skilled in modern operational technologies and software, with an enthusiasm for adopting innovative logistics solutions.
