Procurement Specialist

**Vacante para la empresa Hinduja Tech Mexico en Toluca, Estado de México**:Hinduja Tech Limited is looking for a self-motivated engineer who will be responsible for procuring goods and services to support conventional and electrified (BEV, BSG, ESS, HEV, PHEV, REEV) powertrain test cells located at the Technical Center, in Michigan. This Procurement Specialist will need to be comfortable with all aspects of parts procurement process; including obtaining quotes from suppliers, coding material, submitting purchase requisitions, requesting priority for PO placement, completing goods receipts after material is received, and approving invoices. The Procurement Specialist will also need to help manage blanket purchase orders and repeat buys of consumable items like calibration gases, coolant, fuel, and oil, critical to keeping the labs up and running. Other job responsibilities could include supporting budget reports, preparing content for budget reviews, and presenting findings to upper management on a monthly basis. In addition, the Procurement Specialist will be required to work effectively with all levels of management, union represented employees, hardware and software engineers and suppliers.**Basic Qualifications**:- Associates degree in Business or Engineering- 2+ years of experience with SAP, for parts procurement, invoicing, and account management- General knowledge of accounting practices and terminology- Proficient in working with MS Excel and PowerPoint- Ability to interact regularly with engineering and management support staff- Motivated, self-starter, with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines- Attention to detail with good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills- Availability to support first shift lab operations- Strong communication skills.
