Regional Operational Controller with responsibility for four plant locations within the Mexico footprint of Yanfeng Automotive Interiors. The Regional Operations Controller will be grounded with exceptionally strong finance, accounting, financial analysis, planning, cost accounting, manufacturing, and partnership skills as well as excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. This position will operate as a business leader with strong initiative and commitment to continuous improvement. Position will have matrix management and development responsibility for plant finance professionals in the region. Responsibilities Provide financial support as business partner to the Operations and Finance Directors with strong participation in the Management Team; Drive business turnaround and change initiatives in region to improve profitability and cash flow performance; Drive a process‑driven culture, ensuring robust internal financial controls are maintained and constantly monitored; Drive adherence to all policy and procedures and have robust work instructions for the plants. Develop tools for use in plant analytics in order to drive business improvement initiatives; Drive monthly management meetings to review the key performance indicators, monthly operations reports and progress to goals; Coordinate and review quarterly forecasts and annual profit plans; Drive Continuous Improvement and the implementation and use of Best Business Practices at all plant locations; Responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reporting of the region; Ensure SOX and IOS compliance at all plant locations and perform audits of internal controls. Perform quarterly balance sheet reviews to effectively manage balance sheet and working capital; Work closely with customer business units to analyze commercial margin trends and collaborate on commercial initiatives to enhance overall plant profitability. Education / Major Education / Major Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting or equivalent field and five years of accounting / financial experience with emphasis in cost accounting and budgets. Master Degree preferred. Work Experience 5+ years' experience Financial Operations Controllership in a manufacturing environment (automotive and / or multi‑plant experience is a huge plus). Language Skills - English. Qualifications Qualifications include : Strong leadership, presentation skills, and ability to explain and communicate financial results to management in an understandable and actionable format for decision‑making purposes. Demonstrated track record of building trust and operating effectively within a dynamic and changing organization. High level of proficiency at analysis of financial information and interpretation into useful information communicated to non‑financial leaders. Strong Problem Solving skills. Computer skills to include : Excel, SAP, QAD, Hyperion (HFM), MS Office. Ability to travel % to plant locations within region as business conditions dictate depending on location. #J-18808-Ljbffr
