Accountant (Latam)

**Accountant (LATAM)**With a strategic partnership with Deutsche Telekom and 200+ customers in over 15 countries and offices in Silicon Valley, India, Germany, Mexico, Brazil and UK we work with our customers to ensure they have a new degree of control of their shipments than ever thought possible.The **Accountant **for** Latin America** will provide support to the Global Finance team by managing daily accounting tasks for Roambee’s businesses in **Mexico and Brazil.** You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.This role reports to the** Assistant Financial Accountant - LATAM **and is based out of** Puebla, Mexico.**Your area of responsibilities would be:- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly / yearly closings- Assist with other accounting projectsWhat we’re looking for:- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance- 2+ years’ related experience preferred- Hands-on experience working with general ledgers- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Excellent problem-solving skills- Proficient with ERP systems, including Microsoft Office- Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectivelyPlease note:- The applicant must be authorized to legally work in the country.
