This role offers the opportunity to lead talented technical teams, develop robust manufacturing processes, and play a key role in establishing and continuously improving a high-performance manufacturing operation.

You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution to ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities, and technical capabilities are ready to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.

What will you do?

  • Lead teams of manufacturing engineers, technicians, and technical professionals responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing and maintenance systems.
  • Drive manufacturing readiness for new products, processes, equipment, and production lines, ensuring successful implementation from concept through ramp-up and stabilization.
  • Lead and support new plant start-up and industrialization activities, including equipment installation, process validation, capacity ramp-up, and production readiness.
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that improve productivity, capacity, quality, and overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing throughput, reducing downtime, eliminating waste, and improving equipment and process performance.
  • Establish and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability and reliability.
  • Lead structured problem-solving for complex manufacturing, equipment, and process issues using data-driven methodologies.
  • Partner closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, Sourcing, Finance, and Engineering to achieve business objectives.
  • Define and monitor manufacturing KPIs, including Safety, Quality, Delivery/Production Attainment, OEE, Productivity, Scrap, Downtime, and Cost.
  • Identify capacity constraints and develop solutions to support current and future production requirements.
  • Lead manufacturing cost-reduction and productivity initiatives while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Establish standard work, operational discipline, and performance management routines within the manufacturing engineering organization.
  • Direct resources, priorities, and tactical execution in alignment with strategic business priorities.
  • Develop technical talent through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Support capital planning, equipment selection, automation projects, and manufacturing technology investments.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
