Role Overview We are seeking an Operations and Value Stream Manager to help achieve this mission. This position will work together with interconnected facilities to ensure efficient package handling and last‑mile delivery services across the designated territory. Key Job Responsibilities Focus on driving and improving end‑to‑end flow value to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve Customer Experience. Driving operational goals and metrics for your Delivery Station. Communicating the vision to your team. Presenting operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership team. Problem‑solve for closing gaps between performance and goals. Hires and develops top talent. Creates and implements a talent plan for the site including talent acquisition, performance and career management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement. Works with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering. Additionally, this manager will be responsible for key metrics, including but not limited to: Safety Metrics, On‑The‑Road Metrics, Under the Roof and Cost Metrics including Optimization process. AmazonMexico This role requires moving across different locations under its scope of responsibility. Initially, the role requires working at nights and flexible shifts to fully understand the E2E operation cycle, after that is expected to have a flexible shift. A Day in the Life Managers in this role will drive continuous improvement initiatives across its territory and use data to inform decisions and influence leaders across all functions. About the Team Responsible for goals in an area where the strategy may not yet be defined. Establishes workflows, SLAs, and operational excellence mechanisms at the site. Sets the standard for effective Delivery Station management and is well versed in industry practices and technologies. Brings Operations perspective to decision making with strong business acumen (understands contribution to the business and partners with finance for cost‑benefit analyses). Broad experience across functional and technical areas, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining large‑scale operations. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience. Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. 6+ years of general experience. Solid understanding/background from Last mile operations. English Fluency. 5+ Years as people manager. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience. Master Degree. Lean/Six Sigma Certification.
