**What your background should look like**:As the Technical Field Engineer, a typical day may include:Drive brand awareness and position our solutions & capabilities with our customersBuild and maintain strong business relationships with customers to drive/increase sales and ensure an exceptional customer experience solving customer challengesDevelop sales opportunities and assist in developing the pipeline for future sales activity through daily interactions with customers.Work with the Key Account Manager and AFG leader to execute strategy and account plan(s).What your background should look likeBachelor’s Degree required in a technical field (Mechatronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering preferred)5+ years’ experience in a technical consultive sales roleExperience working with OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) and Distribution Channel partners25-50% travel requiredEnglishDesirables:Solution based technical sales experience in Factory Automation and/or Warehouse Automation Industry desirable.Strong communicator (verbal, written, spoken) with exceptional listening skillsExceptional interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build strong, credible relationships across multiple organization functions and levels (internal and external to TE)Self-motivated with a passion for serving and helping customersSignificant business acumen, problem solving, critical thinking, and project management skillsClear, strategic thinker with the ability to execute on prioritiesCreativity to see alternativesValue proposition selling conceptsApplication focus growth ;Field Engineer /Technical Sales Engineer**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
