Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst (Remote)Department: OperationsReports To: Manager, AcquisitionsSeniority Level: Mid-LevelEmployment Type: Full-timeSUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our acquisition team. As a BI Analyst, you will identify the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability. In addition, you will collaborate with functional leaders across departments. We are looking for someone that can help identify solutions and monitor change by designing a combination of dashboards, reports, and visualizations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Use statistical analysis and data visu¬alization techniques from primary and secondary sources to identify underlying issues/emerging risks, recognize trends, and relationships.- Collaborate with department leaders to identify reliable sources of data to develop key risk performance indicators (KRI/KPIs) and draw meaningful insights.- Collaborate with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company’s mission.- Analyze business requirements and processes and recommend them to the management and executives for implementation.- Create and maintain documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals for the organization.- Identify the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability.- Collect and analyze business data to prepare reports, dashboards, visualizations, and presentations for consumption of business leaders.- Manages the structure and minimum requirements of multiple acquisition data rooms.- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.- Design, maintain, and regularly improve on plans to provide consistent status on data cleanliness and quality across multiple data rooms.- Report on key department performance measures and provides recommendations to improve monitoring and metrics activities to gather additional insights.- Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify potential issues within datasets and reports as requested by function leaders.- Develop and manage business intelligence solutions for the organization.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS- 3+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, Analytics.- A bachelor's degree in a technology related field that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.- Experience working with BI tool DOMO and some others (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)- Highly proficient business English - both verbal and written and excellent organizational skills.- Working knowledge of data management best practices and data architecture concepts.- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a proven ability to translate analysis into meaningful insights.- Hands on experience creating reports, visualizations, and dashboards in modern BI and reporting platforms.- Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to develop and maintain clear documentation of key data processes.- Experience working with and managing raw disparate data.- Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite.- Comfort dealing with uncertainty and changing circumstances.- Ability to present complex information and ideas clearly.- Spreadsheet modelling experience (Excel/Google Sheets).NICE TO HAVES- Finance modelling experience.- Knowledge of SQL is a plus.CONSIDERATIONS- This is a 100% remote position for residents from any state in Mexico.- Full-time position with 100% payroll scheme + additional benefits.- Friendly, small company environment with collaborative culture.
