In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Reporting to Engineering Service Manager, you as a Stamping Process Engineer will be responsible for define and stablish strategies that assure current process on stamping fabrication area accomplish quality and process capability required by clients, looking for define and maintain operation methods and work standards.About the job:- Provide engineering services implementing standardization and continuous improvement (technical training, analysis, problem solving, process capability improvement, new technologies implementation, etc.)- Focus skills and acknowledge to development, correct, or implement new manufacturing process or any process or equipment transference from or to any other location preserving quality at the stablished operating parameters and cost.- Work closely with Service Engineering Manager, Production Manager, Engineers, and those assigned to the support area, to generate and follow up on new business opportunities.- Propose and justify improvements to existing products and/or processes to reduce costs and increase productivity.- Test and evaluate prototypes of new models.- Provides solutions to reduce cycle times while ensuring product quality.- Establishes recommendations for changes and updates of new products.- Determine activities needed to improve process capability and product characteristics- Support on press shop floor for any issue or product or process abnormality- Define and stablish optimal operation equipment and press parameters- Process and methods standardization- Operational documentation development (visual aids, work instructions, operation manuals, etc.)\- Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.About you:- Minimum of 2 years of experience on stamping process developing activities such a manufacturing engineer or any other related to products or process development.- Engineering change management experience- Knowledge of CAD software- Project management and administration.- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, basic knowledge of the Six Sigma methodology.- Knowledge of core tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA)- Knowledge of balancing lines, standard work, material flows- English 70%Littelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
