Role Summary The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support our software applications. This role requires a strong background in software development, operations, and automation to bridge the gap between development and operations teams and ensure fast, reliable, and secure delivery of services. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools such as Azure DevOps or GIT. Provision, configure, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and services (Azure or GCP), including virtual machines, networking, storage, and databases. Manage containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration systems (Kubernetes) to ensure high availability and scalability of applications. Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (Grafana) to ensure system health and performance. Integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps), manage access controls, and ensure compliance with security standards. Participate in on‑call rotation (if applicable) and troubleshoot/resolve production issues quickly and effectively. Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Product teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that improve the software development lifecycle. Essential Technical Skills Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP). Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet). Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI. Proficiency in Linux or Windows operating systems. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go. General knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewall concepts. Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team. Passion for automation and continuous improvement. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
