WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Retail team at DHL Express Mexico is looking for a Sr Retail Engineering Manager.

JOB PURPOSE

Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Retail operations and commercial initiatives across DHL Express Mexico, driving operational efficiency, customer experience, revenue growth, and process innovation through data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and transformation projects that support the company's strategic objectives.

YOUR TASKS

• Lead commercial and digital strategic initiatives focused on Retail growth, customer experience, and operational excellence.
• Drive business transformation and process optimization initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and profitability across the Retail channel.
• Monitor Retail performance through data analysis, reporting, and KPI management, ensuring achievement of business objectives.
• Develop and execute commercial, pricing, and promotional initiatives to drive revenue growth.
• Lead cross-functional projects and coordinate stakeholders to deliver business transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate operational and sales opportunities and provide recommendations based on data-driven insights.
• Manage, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with DHL standards, policies, and operational requirements.
• Responsible for leading the strategy and improvement initiatives for in-store commercial operating system.

PROFILE

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams and driving business transformation, operational excellence, performance management, and strategic projects in Retail, Logistics, Commercial, or Operations environments.
• Advanced business analytics and KPI management, with strong ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.
• Project and change management, including process optimization, continuous improvement, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Leadership and people development, with proven ability to coach, engage, and develop supervisors and coordinators.
• Fluent English communication skills
