TasksMainframe Developer (Cobol)**Location**: Guadalajara, Mexico (On-Site)6months+ contract**About the Role**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Work with RDAM and VSAM databases to ensure efficient data handling and processing.- Manage and process file storage types, primarily DASD.- Handle CICS (Customer Information Control System) for transaction management.- Utilize ISPF/TSO environments for day-to-day development tasks.- Write and troubleshoot JCL (Job Control Language) scripts for batch processing.- Use ISPW for mainframe source code management and version control.- Develop reports and perform data analysis using EASYTRIEVE.- Utilize ZWEASY for additional programming and processing tasks.- Work with ESP Scheduler and Control-M Scheduler for job scheduling and automation.**Requirements**:**Nice to Have**:- Knowledge of Unix and Linux environments is a plus.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in Mainframe development.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
