Junior Project Manager

This role combines aspects of project management and delivery coordination to ensure the smooth execution of software development projects.You will play a key role in planning, tracking, and reporting on projects while supporting teams with the tools and processes they need to succeed. Strong communication skills, proficiency with project management tools, and a proactive mindset are essential for this position.**Primary Responsibilities****Project Planning and Tracking**:- Assist in planning project timelines and deliverables.- Maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines and milestones are clearly communicated and met.- Taking notes and requirements to follow up with needs.- Track and monitor progress across multiple projects using tools like Jira, Trello, and Excel. Document the process in LucidChart, and Jira- Assess impact of new requirements on existing functionality and work with technical team to document.- Manage Jira projects to see the features through the development lifecycleCoordinate with the QA team to complete unit and regression testing prior to production releases and ensure Test Cases accurately reflect feature requirements.**Coordination and Communication**:- Act as a liaison between the engineering teams and leadership to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.- Organize and facilitate meetings, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.- Create and distribute clear, concise project updates and reports to leadership.**Risk and Issue Management**:- Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and escalate them as necessary.- Work with teams to resolve blockers and maintain project momentum.- Process Management and Improvement:- Support the adoption and implementation of best practices in project management and delivery.**Documentation**:- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, timelines, and post-project reviews.**Qualifications**:**Required Skills and Experience**:- Strong proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Excel, or similar).- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.**Preferred Skills**:- Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.- Experience working in or with software development teams.- Basic technical knowledge or the ability to understand engineering workflows.- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or similar) or equivalent work experience.- 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role.Pay: $70,000.00 per month**Experience**:- Jira: 1 year (required)- software project coordination: 1 year (required)- Trello: 1 year (required)**Language**:- English on a proficiency level (required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in 11320, Anáhuac I Sección, CDMX
