The role:

• Report the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements of the company with accuracy, completeness, and opportunity. Implement the controls for the Balance Sheet monthly reconciliations.
• Supervise and monitor the accounting operations and the daily journal entries.
• Implement the controls to assure the quality of the accounting transactions while keeping the supporting documentation in place.
• Control the Fixed Assets of the company and supervise the Record to Report sub-stream.
• Assist and actively participate in the continuous enhancement of the functionalities and capabilities of our ERP (SAP), so that the integration between modules and processes are consistent and efficient.
• Provide the General Ledger to the Tax Advisors and all the information needed for the monthly and annual Income Tax and VAT calculation.
• Develop a Tax Planning & Strategy, in collaboration with the Management and Tax Advisors, that contributes to reducing risks and ensuring the correct planning on Taxes Payments.
• Supervise Treasury activities, promoting a good collaboration with banks and a good integration with the banks platform with the ERP and other Systems in the company.
• Prepare and ensure relevant documentation for external auditors and tax inspections.
• Assist in responding to inquiries from senior management, headquarters, and business units.
• Keep a motivated and disciplined team.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields.
• Preferable master’s degree in accounting, finance, administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with extensive knowledge in taxes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Desirable previous experience with a multinational business environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Advanced Excel and Office 365.
• Experience handling SAP Business One or other ERP.
• Highly Analytical, self-disciplined, with high attention to detail.
• Strong ethics, even under pressure.
• Preferable with experience working in one of the Big 4 or being audited by one of the Big 4.
• US GAP & IFRS experience.
