The **Carrier Development Manager** is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and building strategic relationships with transportation providers (carriers) to ensure a strong logistics network that meets the company’s transportation needs. Their goal is to optimize transportation capacity, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs, while ensuring reliable and high-quality service.**Key Responsibilities**:- **Carrier Relationship Development and Management **(Identify and negotiate agreements with new carriers to expand the transportation network, manage and review service contracts with carriers, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, conditions, and service levels)- **Rate and Contract Negotiation**:- **Carrier Performance Monitoring and Improvement**:- **Transportation Capacity Management**:- **Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management **(ensure carriers comply with local and international transportation regulations (customs, road safety, etc.).**Requirements**:- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation management, or carrier development.- Proven experience negotiating rates and contracts with logistics providers.- Experience in evaluating and analyzing carrier performance (KPIs).- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP, and shipment tracking software.- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong business relationships.- **It is a must to have at least 2 years of experience working in a Freight Forwarder**:- English speaking ability at Advanced level (required)**ECONOMICAL OFFER**- Annual bonus- Benefits based on Mexican Law- Insurance of Major Medical ExpensesTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: A partir de $40,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Seguro de gastos médicos mayoresPago complementario:- Bono anualTipo de jornada:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 10 horasPregunta(s) de postulación:- ¿Cuentas con nível de inglés para mantener una conversación de negocios?- ¿Cuentas con base de datos activa de carriers?- ¿En qué empresas de Freight Forwarding has trabajado?Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
