Minimum qualifications:- 2 years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, or online publishing (e.g., writing technical customer-facing materials or online content)- Experience writing and publishing public-facing content, such as blog posts or help center articles- Experience with information architecture- Ability to speak and write in English fluentlyPreferred qualifications:- Experience in customer service in enterprise/cloud environments- Experience managing a help center or other knowledge bases- Experience in vendor operations management or overseeing vendor operations programs- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities- Team oriented, with the ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams- Understanding of technical concepts involved in cloud computing (e.g., containers, networks, apps, etc.)**About the job**:Technical writers plan, create, and maintain educational content as an integral part of the engineering or user experience. The content is often in the form of documentation, but may also be UI text, sample code, videos, or other educational material. Regardless of the content medium, technical writers are distinguished by their abilities to explain complex topics in a way that’s useful to their audience.The Google Cloud Support team helps customers solve technical problems with excellent customer care. We engage customers across the globe through one-on-one support, online communities, and social platforms. Our team members are advocates of Google for customers, and we work to set new standards, with an innovative approach to support.In this role, you will be responsible for writing and optimizing Google Cloud Platform content to help attract contact drivers. Helping to build and manage a searchable knowledge base that will be surfaced to customers.
