Responsibilities To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Director, Materials located in Juarez Sur . Reporting to the General Manager , the Director, Material’s role involves: What a typical day looks like: Expertise in developing and executing global sourcing strategies aligned with GSS objectives, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and cost optimization. Proven ability to manage complex, multi-regional supply chains, ensuring material availability, minimizing risk, and optimizing logistics. Skills in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with global suppliers to drive performance, innovation, and resilience. Advanced knowledge in demand forecasting, inventory control, and capacity planning to support dynamic production environments. Strong ability to work across departments (Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality) to align materials strategy with business goals. Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams, mentoring leaders, and driving engagement in multicultural environments. Ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold global standards and policies. Experience in industry Global Services & Solutions (GSS), desirable. Qualifications The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Advanced English proficiency. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field. Experience in materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and team development skills. Experience working with GSS or global commodity management teams. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to work in a global, fast-paced environment. APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
