Jr Accountant

**Job description**:We are seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations for our Mexico operation.This role will focus on transactional accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and reconciliations) while also providing opportunities to assist with month-end close, reporting, and audit preparation.**Key Responsibilities**- Transactional Accounting_- Process and record accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.- Maintain accounts receivable records, prepare customer statements, and support collections follow-up.- Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.- Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and credit card statements.- Record general ledger journal entries in Epicor ERP.- Month-End Close & Reporting_- Assist in monthly closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.- Support preparation of internal reports for U.S. and Canada SG&A entities.- Provide documentation and analysis for internal and external audits.- Process & Compliance_- Ensure transactions are compliant with internal controls, accounting policies, and company procedures.- Maintain organized financial records and support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects.- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounting processes.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles welcome).- Knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS exposure a plus).- Strong Excel skills; experience with Epicor ERP or other ERP systems preferred.- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.- Strong communication skills; English and Spanish proficiency preferred.**What We Offer**:- Hands-on exposure to accounting across Mexico, U.S., and Canada operations.- Training and mentorship from experienced finance professionals.- Growth opportunities into senior accountant or analyst roles.- A collaborative, international work environment.
