**QA Test Automation Engineer**OutpostQA is looking for a highly proficient, hands-on Test Automation Engineer to help define and drive our software test efforts and keep our clients platform running smoothly. You will help the existing quality assurance team build tests, validate software releases, and ensure that customers have a problem free experience. You'll work closely with development teams, to help discover and debug issues.**Role & Responsibilities**- Work with the QA team to find software defects on Android / iOS / Web platforms- Help drive decisions about test strategies, test case development, requirements tracking, and test automation.- Develop automated tests for our clients platforms- Provide detailed bug reports to the Engineering Team using JIRA- Focus on the stability, reliability and performance of client’s internal services and APIs- Support distributed development and test teams**Minimum Qualifications**- Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field- 3-4 years of relevant industry experience- 2-4 years of experience writing automated tests in JavaScript, preferably using React, Cypress, or Selenium as a framework- Experience working with Mongo SQL and database testing- Experience working with bash scripting- Experience working with both iOS and Android mobile platforms- Experience with Agile software development methodologies- Experience working with JIRA- Ability to work independently and within a testing team- Excellent written and verbal English skills (B2 proficiency or better).**Desirable Skills**- Experience working with Rainforest QA automated testing tools- Experience with performance testing tools such as Jmeter- Experience writing custom automation frameworks- Experience with mobile messaging technology (SMS, MMS, etc)- Experience with Cypress, Selenium and other web testing tools- Experience working with Git and Continuous Integration / Deployment modelsOur company offers an opportunity to work on cutting edge software, in a fast paced start-up environment.
