The product set enables high availability solutions, real-time data integration, transactional change data capture, data replication, transformations, and verification between operational and analytical enterprise systems.For more information:**Responsibilities**- You will share ownership of the health and operations in the build, packaging, and testing infrastructure supporting the development of the GoldenGate Product Suite.- You will own improvements to Oracle Golden Gate build processes. You will be a key participant in the improvements and decisions to adopt compilers and linker technologies.- You will own critical automation improvements to improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency.- Develop new installation processes or maintain existing production installer processes.- You will be chartered with improving the overall build framework and monitor existing build processes to either make code changes or work with other developers to make code changes.- You will investigate, debug, diagnose and resolve runtime product build issues impacting day-to-day operations across various porting platformsThis position requires you to be an independent self-driven contributor and at the same time, work with a globally dispersed team. Collaboration with individuals from other teams is essential for success in this position.**Required Qualifications**- Proficiency with build script tools and environment- Solid experience in automation of building/packaging processes- Experience with LLVM and Clang compilation enablement- Strong knowledge writing Bash scripts- Ability to investigate, debug, and resolve runtime product build issues impacting software delivery across various porting platforms.**Skills**- Excellent problem-solving skills- Technical strength as well as leadership- Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies with short dev cycles**Experiences that will help you succeed**- Programming background in C, C++, Perl or Python- Familiar with CI/CD technology, including TeamCity or Jenkins- Experience- building open source software using Gnu autotools- Git source control- Gnu Makefiles when used for Gnu C/C++- Windows and UNIX- Microsoft Visual Studio- JFrog Artifactory- Docker or Kubernetes- Prior experience with installer processes and tools**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**- Develop and enhance installation process for GoldenGate product suite supporting multiple OS and Database platforms- Analyze Oracle GoldenGate Build processes to deliver significant improvements from current framework- Create or Identify opportunities for automation of operational build and release engineering tasks and instrument the automation in collaboration with stakeholders.- Build Third Party binaries from Third Party Source code on various Unix ports and Windows- Triage and debug runtime errors/issues in the software from:- Ongoing development merges during release cycles- Introduction of new Third Party binaries- Integrate existing tools to provide and analyze security reports on third party libraries- Identify and utilize opportunities to enhance developers’ productivity by means of effective tools and build and release engineering processes.- Enhance and automate patch build and delivery process with focus on reliability and efficiency.- Lead projects, collaborate and mentor other members of the team as required.**Detailed Description and Job Requirements****Oracle is an Affirmative Action-Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
