Software Commissioning Supervisor

The team is responsible for the commissioning of the Software Application Engineering North America projects. This leader will ensure the delivery of high quality and effective performance of the software solutions that are critical to the operations of Dematic customer systems.- Tasks and Qualifications:In this position, the primary responsibility is that the team executes at a very high level to meet our excellence standards. To achieve this, it will require building strong business relationships with the team to make sure the team’s motivated to perform accordingly and reach their protentional. Besides the engagement with the team, you also need to interact with other managers and project leads to make sure our department projects are covered by the team member that best fits the needs.To be successful you will need effective communication, leadership and big picture perspective. You will need to anticipate issues the team may encounter and be a partner of the overall business that makes decisions with the employees, customer and company in mind.Key responsibilities:- Drives problem solving efforts for project, team and process performance- Displays accountability for software performance excellence- Continually coaches team through team meetings and one-on-ones sessions- Hold project teams accountable for their project responsibilities and deliverables- Champion continuous improvement in project management and commissioning tasks- Participates in forecasting, requesting, and justifying staffing changes- Participate in customer meetings as needed- Remove roadblocks the team encounter to perform effectiveWhat we are looking for- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar- 4+ years software engineering experience- 3+ years industry experience- 1+ year leadership experience- Excellent English communication for writing and speaking- Ability to travel (50%)- Additional Job DescriptionCareer DevelopmentWe are here to support you for the entirety of your Dematic career.
